    I could not wait any longer as others were waiting for me to help move. The lady then turned to me and snarled “what is your problem?” she then walked out the door turned around and said “you guys are jerks” and walked away.

    This business and its owner/staffs have no Consumer respect. They made booking mistake and were extorting us. They insult, Shout and Scream upon being asked questions.

    The lady asked “what is bond?, the gentlemen explained very clearly that it was just a security deposit to cover for any extra days rental, missing fuel or any damage . He also explained that the bond and hire money gets frozen in her account and the money is only taken when the vehicle is returned and if there are no issues, the bonds goes back into her account.

    Then the lady then raised the question of $100 bond, she said that she hires from Hertz all the time.

    My Sister had booked car for a trip online for amount of $144.00. Upon arriving to receive the car, we were told car is not available and if we wanted car we have to pay $450.00. When asked why the amount was $450.00 as we had booked online on THEIR website for $144.00.

    The gentlemen at the counter explained again that there are different deposit requirements for different locations and at Campbelltown Station it has always been $300. He also told her Hertz and Thrifty have $500 bond and Avis has a $400 bond. After all this explanation the lady asked again “but what is a bond? I do not know what a bond is?” The gentlemen very calmly said this is the third time I am explaining. She got fired up, so angry, raised her voice saying that she did not hear it, abused the crap out of the old man. Both the father and daughter started an altercation accusing the old man of saying they were deaf. I was there all the time and at no point the gentlemen mentioned such a word.

    I had to pay for some chips on the windshield, albeit I perfectly know that this did not happen while I had this car. Indeed, the person who took the car back was overzealous, searching during minutes for some minor microscopic impacts. Clearly, a strong feeling that this is not a serious agency and that the manager needs to find means to compensate for the too attractive rental prices. Arrogant and not at all customer oriented staff. Better go to another company.

    This woman is a liar. Before the paper work she asked which car she was getting and I overheard very clearly the gentleman saying and pointing to the yellow car in the yard.

    Very rude staff. They did everything they could to get me to pay for microscopic marks on a windshield that I did not cause. I am extremely fastidious about reading contracts, checking details, and avoiding damage, and I warned them in advance that I would not tolerate them trying to hold my deposit for damages. I recommend going elsewhere. If you choose Europcar, then 1) take photos of the car in front of the Europcar Campelltown sign, 2) don't leave until they have done their investigation, and 3) Do Not sign the incident report if they try to make you sign one when you have not done any damage. One employee tried to make me sign one AND he would not let me speak to the manager. It was VERY shady. Fortunately I had spoken to the manager before I even rented the car, so the employee had no leg to stand on.

    From the time i walked in to hiring and returning the car, it was a breeze. very helpful stuff and they are great gentlemen to deal with. Happy Customer. We will be returning in the future.

    The lady would not stop yelling, kept repeating that it should only be $155, I don’t have that sort of money for the bond and went on. The father joined the daughter in the argument to intimate the gentleman and created a scene.

    I totally disagree with Chirayu’s review as it is totally incorrect and a biased account of disgruntled person based on hearsay narrative from his sister and father. I witnessed the whole drama orchestrated by his sister while waiting in the queue to pick up a truck @ 8.00 on 12/11/16.

    The gentlemen behind the counter completed all the data entry and proceeded with the pre-authorization. He told her that the pre-authorization included a $300 bond on top of the 2 days hire plus roadside assistance as per their request.
