  No staff to assist you. I had to walk around the store and find a staff member to assist my mother in the shoe department. It took a good 15 minutes before someone came to help

  I have been to the store four times to be colour matched for an Estee Lauder foundation and gotten no service. I've asked ladies at other counters and they've said they cannot assist. I've never had this issue at any other David Jones store, if nobody is there to assist someone always comes over to ensure the customer is being looked after.

  Staff in men's dept were disinterested and unhelpful. Prefer to stand around and look at their watches than to offer help. We were shopping for wedding attire and felt like we were an inconvenience by being there, despite the lack of other customers. Disappointing.

  Was really good back before the renos in 2008-2013. Staff were helpful and actually cared as most of them actually lived in the area and knew most customers by name. Sadly DJ"s sacked them all and got in young 18 year olds who can't tie their shoe laces let alone know the difference between blue and black. Most of them don't even know the products they sell or even care about them. The 5 Star service has been thrown out the window and replaced by expensive flashy decor without the caring staff DJ's used to be known for, especially in Macarthur Square.

  Im so sick of going to this store and not getting assistance in the lingerie section you can never find anyone and its embarrassing when security comes and checks what are doing when you are waiting for help. This is not the first time this has happened to me. Then you have to walk through to other areas to pay and when you ask for help you get told that they have no idea where the assistant is. So what do you do when its the only store that has you're size in bras
